My sincere sympathies to Teresa and the entire family. I didn't know Pat well but my Husband and Son was employed by the Petry family for several years.

Pat was the definition of integrity in the construction industry and life! His passionate hard work & leadership in the Central Illinois Builders of AGC of America & ICIC helped the entire state benefit from his efforts & trust. I am so proud to have been one of hundreds that got to know him, his great smile & wit, but mostly just to call him a friend! Our hearts & prayers remain with Teresa ad the family! God Bless!!

Always enjoyed waiting on Pat and his wife. Never a boring conversation and full of knowledge. Also remember Wednesday coffee group harassing him and he also just smiled. Will be missed.

Pat and I we’re first cousins! We haven’t seen each other since our Aunt Ruth passed away. I remember a bright-eyed, mannerly, gentleman, always! You will hold a very special place in my heart, Patrick! We wish that we could attend your life remembrance service! To all those loved family members you’ve left behind, we will pray for each and every one of you. I tried to call and email just two weeks ago, as my mother, Berniece Dickson, passed. But, I was unable to connect. Would you please give me a call when things have settled. My number is 573-619-0893.

My wife, Mindy, and I have very fond memories of our friendship with Pat and Teresa from when we were all young, before and through the time that we each started our families. I have wonderful memories of that time in our lives and the outings and vacations we all took together, including the ‘hotel room with no beds.’ Pat was a terrific person with a great sense of humor, who I always enjoyed being around including our interesting discussions about Architecture and Construction. Wishing you warm and comforting memories of Pat, Jim

Pat was my wrestling teammate in high school. Coach Pittman called him "Patrical Dorsey." He separated my shoulder in wrestling. We learned together on the team. My condolences.

I will always consider Pat a strong leader within the construction industry in Central Illinois and true gentleman that was well-respected throughout the state and nationally. He will undoubtedly be missed.

Pat was a wonderful man and a great neighbor.

I looked up to Uncle Pat starting when I was a young kid. To me he was a smart, hardworking, successful, charismatic and caring man who also had a wicked sense of humor. I’m so glad I was able to enjoy all those wonderful qualities when he and Aunt Theresa were down here in Arkansas for my Dad's funeral several years ago. Rest In Peace Uncle Pat.
