Condolences for Mary Aegler

I have so many memories of my Aunt Mary, my godmother, it's hard to decide what to share. Some things seem trivial, but that's what makes up a lifetime. For example, I remember when I was about nine, Aunt Mary turning out a beautiful tomato aspic onto a plate. The taste was heavenly. I remember her a lot in the kitchen. Later, she sang "Ave Maria" at my wedding and her voice rang out like a bell throughout the church as I laid my bouquet on the altar. During the last few years, we kept in touch by phone as often as possible. I am going to miss her voice saying, "Hello, Barb, it's your Aunt Mary." Rest in peace dear lady. I love you.

Prayers for strength for all of you. I remember your mother so clearly from so many years ago. Memories of your mother will always be close to your heart

She produced good fruit as a good Christian mother would. Now she will see the face of God and be held in the arms of Christ.

I’m at the airport in Israel and the other day I was in Bethlehem and thought of your mother singing O Holy Night on Christmas Eve. I was fortunate to have a few visits with her when I was attending church in Huntley. My Mom loved your mother Mary! God bless and keep you girls as you say goodbye for now.
