I remember Santa Claus coming for all the cousins at Aunt Patty and Uncle Paul’s house on University. What an event!

So sorry for your loss. Many fond memories of your mom from back in the day. Visited the Petry house on University several times with my grandparents (Clarence and Marion "Goggy" Marshall). My grandfather and Pat's grandmother Blanche were siblings.

Patti was a wonderful mom and lived a fun-filled life with her children and friends always around her. Great memories! Huge hugs to you both (Jennifer and Jim), and to your entire family!❤

Stacy, so sorry to read about the passing of your mother. You always looked so happy in the pictures of her and you. I know she will be missed.

The Petry family were some of my best friends growing up 2 blocks down the street on University. I was always jealous that they had a pool table in the basement as we played there alot. You were always welcome in the Petry house and that included "The Petry Place" in Door County as well. Patti & Paul were one of a kind and while Patti's passing is sad....it punctuates a great life and she now can joyfully take her place next to Paul. You are loved by all.....RIP. Jack

I was blessed to grow up up 2 blocks from the Petry household on University Ave. Patti & Paul very much had a ton of class and that Petry dry sense of humor. She used that humor to straighten me out many a time....RIP. Jack

I was so sad to hear about your mom. Your folks and mine had so many fun times over so many years. I have so many memories of Innisbrook. I always looked forward to calling her on my visits to Champaign - usually on July 9th - my birthday and your Dad’s! 98 -WOW! What a life...I know you will miss her. My condolences.. Mrs Petry was one of the "fun" mom's, always kind and laughing in spite of our teenage shenanigan's. She was so very caring and always offered the most well intentioned advice. I was lucky to have been able to spend time with her on University Drive and in Florida.

To the very end, Patty prompted a smile. Hope they have the band playing in heaven when she arrives becaue she will, no doubt, whip out her signature dance move I remember fondly as the "Patty Peck". Her marriage to Paul gave us all so many dear freinds important to our hearts. Thinking of you all as you mourn and celebrate a terrific woman. Much Love, Jane
